Call to action

LifeHouse Call to Action: Building Recovery Communities

"Recovery is not a destination—it’s a community we build together."

At LifeHouse, we believe healing flourishes when it’s shared. Our mission goes beyond treatment: we are cultivating trauma-informed recovery communities where survivors, families, and allies unite to restore dignity, hope, and belonging.

Here’s how you can help us grow these communities:

• Invest in connection — Your support helps us create safe spaces where recovery is sustained through relationships.

• Amplify voices — Share our message and empower survivors to lead, inspire, and shape the narrative of healing.

• Join the movement — Volunteer, mentor, or partner with us to strengthen networks of care that extend far beyond our walls.

Together, we are not just launching facilities—we are developing ecosystems of recovery that transform lives, neighborhoods, and futures.

LifeHouse is more than a program. It’s a community rising. And we need you to rise with us.

LifeHouse is a nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, Maryland, dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance use. Through a 16-week residential program, we provide a safe, supportive environment where residents can focus on recovery, personal growth, and building a foundation for long-term independence.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to offer hope, healing, and opportunity for a drug-free life filled with endless possibilities.

Our program

LifeHouse offers a comprehensive pathway to recovery that goes beyond treatment. Residents benefit from:

  • 16 Weeks of Structured Care – evidence-informed treatment      and recovery support.
  • Life Skills Training – practical tools for daily      living, communication, and resilience.
  • Financial Independence – guidance on budgeting,      employment readiness, and long-term stability.
  • Fellowship & Community – peer support and mentorship to      strengthen recovery.
  • Residential Stay & Nutrition – safe housing and healthy meals      to promote wellness.
  • Resources & Opportunities – access to education, workforce      development, and community partnerships.

Partnerships For Success

LifeHouse collaborates with key partners to maximize impact:

  • Mayor’s Office of Baltimore – aligning with city initiatives      for public health and community safety.
  • Dream Life Treatment Centers – expanding access to      specialized care and recovery services.
  • Community Organizations &      Donors – ensuring residents have the resources they need to thrive.

Together, we create a network of support that empowers every resident to succeed.

Resident experience

At LifeHouse, recovery is more than abstinence—it’s about transformation. Residents leave with:

  • Confidence in their ability to live independently.
  • A supportive network of peers and      mentors.
  • Practical skills to navigate      life’s challenges.
  • Renewed hope for a future free from addiction.

Why LifeHouse Matters

Baltimore faces significant challenges with addiction and recovery. LifeHouse stands as a beacon of hope, offering:

  • A trauma-informed approach     that respects dignity and humanity.
  • A community-driven model     that connects residents to real opportunities.
  • A sustainable pathway to      break cycles of addiction and poverty.

LifeHouse thrives because of community support.

You can help by:

  • Donating to sustain housing, meals, and      resources.
  • Partnering with us to expand opportunities      for residents.
  • Volunteering your time and expertise to      mentor and inspire.

Together, we can build a Baltimore where recovery is possible, dignity is restored, and futures are bright.

LifeHouse is more than a program — it’s a catalyst for lasting change. Our residents consistently achieve:

  • High Completion Rates – graduates finish the 16-week      program with renewed confidence and stability.
  • Employment Readiness – many secure jobs or pursue      education within weeks of completing treatment.
  • Reduced Relapse Risk – trauma-informed care and      fellowship build resilience against setbacks.
  • Community Reconnection – residents rejoin families,      neighborhoods, and civic life with dignity and purpose.

Every success story is proof that recovery is possible when compassion meets structure.

LifeHouse is committed to expanding its reach and deepening its impact in Baltimore and beyond. Our vision includes:

  • Scaling Programs – opening additional residential      facilities to serve more individuals in need.
  • Digital Access – building online resources for      recovery support, life skills, and donor engagement.
  • Community Integration – strengthening ties with local      businesses, schools, and faith communities.
  • Sustainability – ensuring long-term funding and      infrastructure to keep hope alive for generations.

We believe every person deserves the chance to live a drug-free life filled with endless possibilities.
